New York 2008 Schedule
Why New York? Because the "Big Apple" is the center of the universe when it comes to commerce, banks, advertising and especially Web 2.0, 3.0 and beyond . It's the toughest marketplace in the world but still the most liquid and fairest in many respects.
The schedule will be updated once or more weekly until the show: All times and seminars are tentative. Final schedule to be posted on September 12th. Register early as there is NO onsite registration and seating is limited to just 400. We feed you breakfast, lunch and dinner each full day and have it framed with several cocktail parties. All first class food and drink so come hungry. Break bread with folks you can do business with.
The key to the success of TRAFFIC is bringing the biggest and the best together. The quality of the folks that attend are beyond question. That puts the decision maker right there in the middle of a place where his/her decision making abilities get to be recognized and engaged over and over again. The ability to do years worth of business in just a few days. TRAFFIC has created an atmosphere of growth and terrific deal making potential. TRAFFIC is clearly more than a tradeshow or conference. As an event that is by invitation only, TRAFFIC sets a standard that cannot be matched. We know when we ask youto leave the comfort of your homes and your family it better be worth your time and money. That is why TRAFFIC has become such an important part of doing business for those that own domains, buy and sell traffic, have parking and PPC companies, search related companies investors and all the way down to the store on Main Street. TRAFFIC brings the biggest and the best together. It's just that simple. We keep the noise out and the business in.
We create a chemistry that has never been duplicated and we wrap that up with a family approach as opposed to the cold corporate way of doing business. When you get to TRAFFIC, we keep you running, but we also slow you down in a way that allows you to take inventory of where you are and where you are going. Sometimes the most important thing you can do in business is STOP and recalibrate.
To sum it all up......TRAFFIC's greatness is in bringing key people together. It is exclusive no doubt. It isn't open to everyone, nor cheap, as in order to create the level of attendees we have created we must decline some "noise" and we must charge more then what a casual attendee would feel comfortable paying. TRAFFIC isn't for the average domain owner, it's for real professionals, highest integrity and business ethics - the best of the best,. It's a total TREAT for those serious about domain development, traffic and bringing us all to the next level. So while the bar is high to get an invite, it is not out of reach for any serious business person. So don't be intimidated, just be glad you go to a show that cares about the quality and the mix of folks that attend.

Business does not expect domainers to understand their businesses. But we have their future customers and in many cases we understand them more than they do. We can see and feel the frustrations from customers as they surf looking for solutions, answers and products. Our expert panel will speak for the ignored but powerful surfer who wants to buy and can't find folks to sell him what he wants..

Pay to play and watch the market fly!

She emerged as a powerhouse during the last real estate crash and has never looked back. She defines how to tackle a recession and come out on top every time.

Thursday September 25th
8:00AM Breakfast Buffet sponsored by WebmasterWorld.com
8:30AM Wireless Cyber bar opens.
9:00AM Exhibits open
9:30AM Seminar.....Search and optimizing your TRAFFIC for maximum returns. Folks at the show complain about early sessions. Well, if you want search info, search traffic, search to grow your business, then guess what? You need to be up EARLY. This is NEW YORK, you don't sleep in and expect to beat the other guy. So this early session is for early players that will go the extra mile.
10:30AM Speed Networking....OK, you had your coffee, you are awake and ready to tackle the day, the famous TRAFFIC speed networking event is back by popular demand. Meet dozens of new associates in the shortest amount of time and then follow up with those you need to after the seminar or after the show. Be sure to bring your business cards!!
11:30AM Seminar......Domains have gone up faster than any other asset in the history of mankind. Once just a prediction by an early and foolish domain miner, is now a reality for all to see. The most expensive diamond ever sold was this May. $6.2M There is also a blue diamond that sold for $8M. Diamonds have been around for thousands of years. Domains have only been around less than 20 years. Just a quick check at DNJournal will show multiple sales exceeding that figure just in the past 1 or 2 years with probably dozens more that are never even reported. Why have so many been slow to embrace and why have so many seen such a great opportunity and transformed their businesses and their lives? Where is the disconnect? When will it be connected?
12:15PM Seminar .....Meeting of the Chiefs.....CEO's from the top companies in the domain and traffic space discuss the state of our industry and focus on the WADND TRANSPARENCY SEAL OF APPROVAL for monetizers as well as other issues as they arise over the summer months. This will be the seminar that sets the direction of the industry for months to come. It's always a franks and controversial discussion about where we are and where we are headed.
1:15 Lunch Sponsored by TBA .
Dan Warner will tell you about some exciting new things from TRAFFIC Down Under. Then Ron Jackson of DNJournal.com takes the podium and will summarize the domain sales for the three quarters of 2008 and tell you about trends in pricing, extensions and valuation.
