Pinkard Alan ‘Pinky’ Brand has been involved in the domain name industry since 1996. He has 18+ years of executive sales, marketing and international business development experience at technology companies. His consultancy offers the wisdom of nearly two decades of experience to those desiring to leverage new or existing top-level domain (TLD) opportunities, or wishing to grow a new or existing business.
Pinky is heavily involved with delegated or about-to-be delegated new gTLD applicants, helping them develop sunrise, landrush, and general registration programs and services. He is planning and executing registrar channel strategy and management. He understands the critical tasks that must be executed in order to scale up for revenue generation.
Pinky co-founded two multinational domain name registrar and portfolio management companies that count the world’s most recognized trademark holders as clients—generating total revenues in the tens of millions of dollars.
Pinky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television and Film from the University of Texas at Austin. He’s a prolific photographer and resides in Austin, Texas and Dublin, Ireland.
